Fraga da Pena waterfall, a beautiful place for trekking and to see the
nature's beauty. This Recreational Reserve is located in Beiras, Arganil at the "Área de Paisagem Protegida da Serra
do Açor". this protected area is divided into two parts, tha Mata da Margaraça Partial Nature Reserve and the Fraga da Pena
Recreational Reserve. The Mata da Margaraça is one of the few remaining areas of natural vegetation on schist hillsides in
central Portugal. The Fraga da Pena is a feature of considerable value for recreational and scientific purposes.
